A short but busy tour organised by John & Clare Golden

A 12 day tour from 14th May to 25th May organised by Martin & Annette Gosling. The route was Vitoria, Jerez, Gibraltar, Almeria, Murcia, Reus and Lleida.

A two day visit to Yorkshire visiting a Lavender Farm, Central Science Laboratory and Eden Camp with a group dinner at night. Organised by Paul & Roz Stephens.

Around 40 members eventually arrived by aeroplane or car at Garston Farm owned by member Michael Ball. The flying was hampered by freezing fog covering the Midlands, but in the end only about 10 didn't arrive. Alvis Bros is a family company that produce around 3500 tonnes a year of cheese from their own herd of 1000 cows and bought in milk. This is just one part of a very large farming operation.

The FFA visited the Kew Steam Museum and had the opportunity to see some of the giant engines steamed up and working. A good winter meeting organised by Mike Cuttell and John Golden. Photos by Martin Gosling.

Despite a misty start over much of the country, the AGM was well attended with around 60 members and 20 aircraft. Martin Robinson of AOPA was the speaker after lunch, then the 4 winners of the Blades aerobatic flight from last year's AGM had their sortie with the ex Red Arrow pilots.

An ambitious tour to Romania flying right accross to the Black Sea and returning via Hungary. Coordinated by David and Penny Corbett.
